There was talk in the House of Lords within the last week of experimenting with putting the clocks forward an hour across the board - the equivalent of being on CET.

The main reason behind the proposed change is that it has been suggested that we don't make the best use of daylight hours - mainly during the winter when it can be light earlier before most people are out of bed but dark by four in the afternoon.

I'd propose something different again though. Instead of changing the time on the clock, why not change the time that you go to work/school/racing instead ?
