Friends of mine are looking to get broadband into their house. They dont have a landline, although i think the previous owners of the house had, so it would be an option to get an Eircom package. The thing is, its purely the broadband they want, they dont want a phone or anything like that. what package is available to them does anyone know? Or will the get roped into line rental etc??
What about other options, such as wireless and broadband in a box? What are these like? Speed etc? They live within a mile of the town centre, so they are centrally enough located for broadband etc....
Any ideas or experience would be greatfully excepted.
