Am I right in thinking Broadband prices are starting to fall? It doesn't seem so long ago it was £25-30 per month, but I saw an ad or two recently offering it at about £17pm.

Anyone recommend anything?

I have read that the quality of the Broadband service varies quite a bit and as usual you tend to get what you pay for.

I did a bit of research into it and the name I came up with was Biscit, not the cheapest but it works well and very good customer service.

For that sort of money Maurice you could be looking at a download limit (possibly as low a couple of gigabytes a month) or possibly a 256k connection so best to check the small print before signing up to some of the special deals!

Also, many of the cheaper deals will tie you into a 12 month contract and charge you a penalty if you want to leave before it expires.

The good deals are still available at about £21.00 pcm upwards so some of the prices have dropped, but not in general by as much as they ought to have considering the price reductions BT wholesale has passed onto the retailers.

Thanks, all. I also visited the Which? site. They don't seem very impressed by many of the companies.

I use PIPEX . They're a business provider and the reliability and customer service is second to none . I have to say I've never had a connection failure in over 2 yrs . 23.50 /month for 512k . Free install and modem too last time I checked :)
