I think yesterday racing put thousands in the poor house. Maybe they're off drowning their sorrows on cheap wine.

On the subjest of slow internet has anyone tried Tor Browser?

When you can barely connect to the internet and everything is dead slow it's handy tool to have.

It goes a different route than your normal connection does and you will find you can connect to sites that may be down if you ae using say IE or google.

Also bypasses any restrictions you may have where you live like banned websites.

One drawback is you cant watch live or recorded videos.

No. Studying to sit an exam to see if I'm still worth paying for a job I have been doing for years. Wouldn't mind, but I was strong-armed into taking the post in the first place.
