How common is it for a racehorse to evacuate itself immediately after a race?

I've been watching racing on TV for 45+ years and don't recall ever seeing a horse do it so when Valseur Lido 'emptied' upon pulling up it just made me wonder.

Is it maybe just something I've never noticed?

They'll let one go during a race never mind when pulling up.........doesn't affect them one bit but farting has know to slow the horse behind down or propel the one who farts forward :lol:

I was thinking of Paula Radcliffe as I typed it.

It's impossible to disassociate her from the idea of dumping during a race.
