Hello my sewer rat friend.

I know you're a fan of oddsmonkey.com but are you aware of any other arb checking site? Both the monkey and the trawler have been blocked by a firm that I use it with.

Mate, no site beats oddsmonkey, in truth. "Kong" the owner runs a great service -- only £8 a month for the Premium no-time-delay access. And the filters and books covered are second to none. IMO.
Thinking, could you try accessing oddsmonkey on your mobile at work? I do know that there is a mobile version, but unsure if this is limited to Premium users?

This is a "skin" of Oddsmonkey, and doesn't require registration. It might just pass under the radar of your company's blocker.

When you are on it does it display horse racing for PP? Mine has been blank all week. There is only Football on there. I've signed up for beat the bookies and the free screen is empty. That wouldn't exactly have you rushing to pay £50 a month!

Yes it (mbassist) does. The grey coloured "ALL BOOKMAKERS" drop-down menu on the top left has 50 or more bookies including Paddy. Exactly the same as Oddsmonkey. If you're only getting football, maybe you have it filtered only for that? Go to the FILTER tab and tick all the sports -- horses, cricket, ice hockey, etc etc.

Yes, beatbookies would want to wake f***ing up and smell the coffee with those prices. An empty screen -- wtf ?. A waste of time is that outfit so.

Filters are empty on oddstrawler, oddsmonkey and mbassist but there are no horse racing selections for PP, just football. Is this the same for you? I just get the following when I filter to horse racing:

Then,there is something wrong at your end, lad. Maybe your company's blocker is interfering with the correct transmission of data?

I have taken the following screenshot just a minute ago of mbassist. You will see that horses are displayed along with footie. And Paddy has the highest percentage current arb at the top with 108%.

If you click on "Click for more info", then, the horse selection will pop up. :)
 
You are both missing what I'm asking. When you filter to PP and horse racing are there any selections?

Same with oddsmonkey, having just checked.
 
I have come across an instance like this before on Oddsmonkey.
Kong would inform or post notice that his "crawler" bot wasn't picking up prices from a particular bookie due to that bookie's info stream having broken down temporarily. (But usually all prices for all sports would be affected rather than the current issue of horses only). Dunno what's the cause, bud.
 
Yes but you won't see any horse racing! Juststorm is another skin of this crawler and they are all the same.

I dunno what could be causing the issue. Any possibility that Paddy might be deliberately firewalling against crawlers that are sniffing for horseracing arbs?
 
I'm using SpyMare these days. If you want my login to have a look at it let me know. Its basically the same thing but a different feed to oddstrawler.

On a separate note. Is there any site that provides live US tote pools for tracks like Laurel Park etc?

I've been using Ebetusa for years for this purpose and I find it answers my needs.
It does NOT carry Laurel Park, but as neither do Betfair cover that track I'm not too upset by that.
(Although I am upset that Ebetusa have lost Tampa and Turf Paradise in the past month).


Ebetusa relays live Toteboard from many USA gaff tracks and harness as well as the mainstream ones.

Tomorrows coverage for example is:

I'll do a check later but first impression makes me a bit wary ( using an arbing site is usually a fastrack to getting account closure, as you know).
There is a Free Trial available, I see, so I'll def have a look tomozz.

I do feel complimented by the above, actually. I must be one sick-minded individual both in character and in betting style !



On a related note, please do encourage Paddy management to continue the recent incorporation of pricing up a particular USA meeting (usually Parx) on occasional days, rather than SP only .

His oddsmaker for USA genuinely is a bit behind the curve. Last night's Parx 18:47 6F Claiming Stakes 20/1 for Lover's Dream is just one example -- (Toteboard 7/1 and Betfair 9.5). ;)

Please don't let it stop, Paddy, please don't let it stop. :ninja:
