Sounds like he will be running over hurdles this season. Gelded and more than likely sold to Dr. Lambe, I think he could do quite well as he likes an ease in the ground. Of course, it must have been a bad injury to keep him off the track for so long.

Weld couldn't keep the smirk off his face.I got the impression he will be reinvented as a dual purpose horse but not in time for Cheltenham.

I was a bit surprised that they gelded him. He won a Tattersalls Gold Cup and a couple of Group 2 races as well as being placed in both the Derby and Irish Derby. Surely there are much worse horses standing as NH stallions, especially considering his size.

Who would stand him? Coolmore wouldn't want him. Doubt Rathbarry would go for him. So that leaves a small operation and I doubt the money is there to buy him. So off to India or the North Pole where he would probably end up in a factory in four or five years if he proves unsuccessful. H's also had an injury problem. Nah, I'd much prefer to see him over hurdles for the next four years!!
