Sorry I don't accept that crap at all

1 Homelessness interviews and investigations take place in private

2 Homelessness investigations are not carried out by the social services department in Leicester or anywhere

3 In any event the reason why anyone would be given short term accommodation pending a decision on homelessness enquiries would be because they were in priority need e.g had children whilst there is no duty to provide accommodation to single people unless they are vulnerable or pregnant or homeless by means of fire or other emergency

4 Anyone leaving accommodation available for their occupation and which would be reasonable for them to continue to occupy would be intentionally homeless and would not get a house anyway .

It is by peddling anecdotal rubbish like your story that prejudice and ignorance spreads
