Celebrity Love Island

Maybe I'm in a minority, I don't know, but isn't this some of the biggest load of utter rubbish to hit prime-time TV for some time. They are essentially a bunch of desperate, uninteresting Z-list celebrities, and to top it off the show's format is about as dull as it gets.

I gave it 10 minutes on Monday before I switched off, and gave it another 10 minutes last night which confirmed the first impression was the right impression.

Do ITV really think this will survive if it goes head to head with Big Brother which must be due to start any time soon.
 
Fudge - this a complete load of tripe - its on a par with The Farm. I can't believe someone of your class & calibre is watching it!
 
I shuddered when I first saw this 'programme' advertised some time ago. I vowed not to watch it and I find the 'celebrity' status accorded to these inadequate non-people quite disturbing.

Anyone who watches it (unless they're being paid to do so) needs their head examined. Anyone who likes it must be a few sandwiches short of a picnic basket.
 
I have never watched this or any other reality TV shows. I think they are banal and a total waste of time.

Spot on Simmo . I agree in part with what some tabloids said today . The only way to salvage this is to ship in all of their ex's but rather than air the result I would abandon the lot of them on the island . I've never seen such a vacuous bunch of idiots . The irony of it is they're whineing about press laws and media intimidation whilst offering themselves up for public comsumption , for money.
 
I did watch :o about 10 minutes. I thought the sound had gone. Nope, wasn't our TV. A warning notice appears stating that due to legal reasons sound and/or vision may disrupted.

Unfortunately it was only the sound :lol:
