I went to the one in Elveden Forest last August and really enjoyed it. We took the dog so we didn't need a bicycle - although you could hire the ones with a little carriage on the back, but I couldn't imagine Barney staying in there if he saw another dog go past for instance. :blink:

As you say, Harry a real activity based holiday but for those of you that have children that like doing outside activities I think many would love this. We went with two families and their children and they enjoyed every minute of it. They played golf, went clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, swimming and played many indoor activities in the evening too . There were plenty of restaurants to choose from too. Our "chalet" was in the forest which meant a nice 20 minute walk either to buy the paper or visit the pancake shop.
