Didn't see a thread for this race and wondered what everyone's thoughts are on the potential winner.
Its always been one of my favourite races of the Festival ever since I managed to fall onto Joe Cullen back in 2000. I have had more winners than losers in the race over the years including some nice bets on Total Enjoyment ( tipped by everybody in Ireland in the weeks leading up to the race) and one of my favourite winners Silver Concorde for D.K. Weld.
This year I am starting to get drawn to Aqua Force, a 29 length winner of its only race and almost immediately snapped up by JP and now with WPM. It's odds have been contracting over the last week, from 33's into 12's on most books today. I have taken the plunge and had a bet as I dont think there are any particular stand outs in the field at the moment and I wouldnt be surprised if he goes off at single figures.
Thoughts anyone?
