I have used Betfair for years but there is now (at last) competition!!

Betdaq is 2% for every market and Matchbook is 0% for horses.

Liquidity is finally there too...(which was always the problem with exchanges other than Betfair)

Just found this................BETDAQ currently take 5% of the profits from a winning bet, but this can fall as low as 2% depending on the volume of wagers that you make.

So which is true?

Pleased if liquidity is now there, be good to have a genuine alternative to the 'like it or lump it' outfit

2% Tanlic on winning bets....its their headline banner.
They also do a good offer (opt in with code ITVSUM) for the casual racing punter on all ITV racing through the summer where you can earn a 20% boost on winnings as a freebet (max £20) daily on ITV races.
I swapped all my football bets to Betdaq at 2% from Betfair, where I am paying nearly 5%

Horses are Matchbook.......0%

Like I say, liquidity is much better than before, hence why I'm using them!

I've been trading (to varying degrees of success!) on Betdaq since last December and it's perfectly possible to trade on there.

Slightly off-topic but I'm very interested to see how ventures like Bookie take off in the coming months - I suspect that in a few years time, Betfair will no longer have the monopoly on horse racing trading.
