I totally agree about seperate sections for Birthdays and perhaps competitions apart from that, I think things are just fine the way they are!

I always read the RIPs and the discussions that surround some of the horses that are lost, and I love reading the same section when a horse survives after what appears to have been a fatal fall.

I also like the current way the RIP thread (very) occasionally disappears off of the first page when there don't appear to have been any fatalities. Unfortunately, it soon bounces back to the top again.
