That could have been nasty

Tractor wouldn't start and couldn't move the starting stalls as the runners were turning into the home straight

Geez..just watched it. That’s an understatement! What I don’t understand is the the “stop race” flag was deployed quite so late. Each racecourse has stringent procedures for this and I’m amazed it was allowed to happen like this. It could have been catastrophic for several horses and jockeys. Credit to them all being able to pull up in such a short space.
 
Scary stuff -I think the scariest horse racing incident I have ever seen on YouTube is a horse unseating at American gaff track Charlestown and galloping flat out around the track in the wrong direction.
