For those who are not aware, PP are offering a different enhanced daily double for Cheltenham, where the odds offered (e.g. 15/1) correspond to the amount of days to the start of the festival (15 days). Whilst i don't usually bet in doubles, some offer quite good value and are worth a peak.

Of even more interest, PP will refund all losing bets in the Supreme if Dunguib wins. To be fair, it's a very nice concession. It also applies to the win part of each way singles.

Might be best to turn this thread into a general update re: bookmakers offers for Cheltenham. Ladbrokes and Bet 365 now non-runner no bet on all Festival races. Though amusing to note the latter seem to be prepared to lay Dunguib to lose only £10*

* This may not be same on all accounts but they are still a bunch of jokers.

Boylesports were doing "enhanced" doubles from 25 days before the Festival. A quick glance showed the enhancements to be very marginally better than you'd get at their advertised prices and sometimes ten or twelve points worse that simply having the same, non enhanced, bet with Ladbrokes. Even bigger jokers than Bet£3.65 imo, although Leon Blanche is a lovely fella!

PADDY POWER, are well renowned for their money back specials. But this time Paddy is going where no layer has gone before by giving punters their money back on all losing bets* in the Spinal Research Supreme Novices' Hurdle if odds-on favourite Dunguib wins the opening race at next month's Cheltenham Festival.

Celtic Bookmakers in Ireland were first to go nrnb-they have offered some real value bets over the last week.

I’ve backed up my position on Dunguib (at 7/4 against) with the PP offer on Get Me Out Of Here and Oscar Whisky. Very efficient betting on the opener at least.

Has anyone tried to take advantage of the Betfred offer (money back on ANY losing bet in the Supreme, up to £100)? It's open to new and current account holders as long as they make a new deposit of said £100. Sounds strange I thought but I've discovered why. Any deposit made by existing customers (and probably new ones) goes automatically to their casino and not the sportsbook. There is no way of overriding this setting. Should be struck off imo.

That's not a betting offer at all - disgraceful. Any deposit should go into "Sportsbook" since it's where the free bet is being used.

Would they do something with £100 going into Sportsbook for a free £100 bet on the Roulette machine? NO, I fail to see why this is any different.

Thats awful...

What a dismal bookmakers they are. Are they still refusing to show some races in their shops too?

The PP offer is irresitible isnt it? Whatever anyone else thinks about them, they get their publicity and PR just right. Been all over the media too. Whatever they lose may well have been made up on the coverage value...

Powers are obviously resigned to losing a tidy sum on the race as a marketing exercise.I have 4 PP offices that I can get to within 30 minutes and a 5th a 7 mile drive away.my circle of friends are going to absolutely hammer this offer and we are aware of the smallprint.
Strangely enough Celtic bookmakers are refunding single bets if Dunguib gets beaten.Effectively you can back any horse bar Dunguib at double the odds.

For those that aren't:

Paddy Power will refund the average stake of multiple single bets on this market; if, at our sole discretion, we feel you are abusing this offer.

Which is fair enough. The £2.26 they offered me on the 2nd fav at 4/1 (7.0 on the machine) isn't.

Mirror today has a voucher for a £2 free bet at hills in shops

Paddy Power £25 free bet to new customers & will refund all win bets on the 1.30 if Dunquib wins

William Hill - Place a bet of £20 or more and get a free £60 win single - New customers only. Telephone betting 0800444040 quote POST60, presumably online you enter the same code somewhere.
