Ok so how about a competition in the build up to Cheltenham? I think a competition during the week of the Festival itself does not really work simply because there is so much on that week anyway and loads of people are away or at the festival itself.
€1000 to spend on each of the following days:
Cheltenham Trials Day - Saturday 24th Jan
Irish Champion Hurdle Day - Sunday 25th Jan
Aon Chase Day - Saturday 7th Feb
Irish Hennessy Day - Sunday 8th Feb
Bets can be win and place only.
Winner is the person with the highest win and place totals after all four days. All entries for each day will be made in the appropriate threads in the Competitions Forum.
Winner gets a €50 bet for the festival.
Two things: The first weekend a good few will be in Navan/Leopardstown but declarations will be done on Friday so you can get your entries all Friday or Saturday rather than leaving it until the morning.
Away also on the second weekend so might need some help with the scores...offers of help is accepted otherwise expect some PMs!!
