Cheltenham Festival trends and previews

Been a lot of bullshit at the previews as per usual. Jamie Codd was announced at one as riding Ravenhill for the Kim Muir and it's now obvious he goes for the National Hunt Chase.

An addition re the Supreme Novices Hurdle, 15 out of the last 19 winners have been in the first half of the ORs

I think thet were just two graded horses that got away with not having their marks protected by their trainers. In terms of stats and trends I would hope that punters would see this year that they are becoming more useless every year as trainers adapt and do different things.

There was a request a bet price available before the meeting started in the region of 100/1 that JP would own the winner of every handicap hurdle.

You'd have been gutted after the last having gone into it with ILDWUT and Front View running for you.

Ha! Has to be someone following me on Twitter that requested that price!

The Martin Pipe was the strangest result of the meeting. You could run that race 999 more times and not get the same result.

I'd have thought it would have been more than that. The winner is very often in the first four or five of top ORs and more often than not in the top two.
