Ok just a reminder I will be opening the chat aroung 8.50 tonight and things can start from about 9.

I'm going to use teh built in chat box this year for various reasons but it should stay open on every forum page so you can contnue to browse while chatting.

You HAVE to be logged in to both see and use the chat box, it should work on all platforums, phones, tablets, even iDevices :D

Ive opened the box for an hour or so now just to test, if anyone logged in can't see it please comment below

Feel free to use it but I will be closing it around 11 at the latest when I go for dinner :D

Im logged in on TH and can see all the chat but I cant see where I log into the chatbox?

you should be auto logged in, just try typing a message into the box on the left see if it appears

It won't work with tapatalk.....tapatalk strips almost everything out of fourms, including this. Its great for everyday use but when we do something like this you need to come in through your browser, sorry

Provisional agenda:

9-9.15: Supreme
9.15-9.30: Arkle
9.30-2am: Champion Hurdle
2am: chat locked after descends into total free-for-all. No opinions changed.

I've warmed up nicely with a large Brandy and the missus has just given me a 'rub down' so that I make it to the start revved up. I'm taking no prisoners. Cry havoc and 'Unleash the Dogs of jaw.

Log in as usual and it appears top left , but not yet ,after 9pm might be a good time to join in Skis. I'm really looking forward to some lively banter and hope the mod don't ban me or the ROW'ers are scuppered.

Pardon my blindness,,,,but were is the chat box exactly, thanks in anticipation

It will appear at the top of every page from about 8.45, ill put it on then so people can test, make sure you know how to use it etc before we start properly at 9.

Its extremely server intensive which is why it doesn't get used very often.

Just some quickies

You MUST be logged in to see or participate in chat.
If you use Tapatalk you won't see it, come in through your browser.
If anyone has any problems let me know on this thread - preferably before 9 - and ill try to sort it out
Any guests who want to see it, quickly join and email me through the contact us link at the botom of the page and I'll approve your membership

:D

Joyce has fed me with stew to soak up the Brandy and just got my suit case out in front of me and reminded me to pack enough pants and socks this time . We're off to Dublin .. I hope it goes better for Joyce this year..I had Great time anyway. No harm done to me and we're not staying in Dublin 4 so I won't be recognized by the local Garda.

Halward, can you try refreshing the page, if no luck, let me know how you are accessing the forum, browser/device and ill see whats up :)
it should be a big box just above the advertising banner

[09-03, 20:48] swedish chef evening even
[09-03, 20:48] baracouda So where do we start?
[09-03, 20:48] Colin Phillips youre drunk chef
[09-03, 20:48] baracouda even stevens
[09-03, 20:49] baracouda What's the running order Day 1 race 1?
[09-03, 20:50] swedish chef SUPREME NOVICES - Irish 1,2,3
[09-03, 20:50] dvds2000 thats what i thought baracouda, just start at the beginning and work through
[09-03, 20:51] swedish chef Gilgambola – Western Boy – Vatour – Wicklow Brave
[09-03, 20:51] swedish chef e/way largest priced one for me
[09-03, 20:52] Gearoid If people starting naming out all the great bets they have had at prices that are no longer available then I'm going back to watching midget porn.
[09-03, 20:52] chroniclandlord Vautour the slickest hurdler
[09-03, 20:52] Kauto Abu Vaniteaux has been galloping all over some very decent types at 7 barrows my pal there informs me. Big ew bet at 20s.
[09-03, 20:52] Grasshopper Greetings
[09-03, 20:53] littlelad western boy looks a huge price relative to vautour.
[09-03, 20:54] Gearoid Why would you bet e/w in the Supreme? Just visit as many PP shops as possible with £50 notes
[09-03, 20:54] Grasshopper I've had some great bets at prices which are no longer available
[09-03, 20:54] Double Handful Evening All
[09-03, 20:55] Kauto Abu It was before the pp offer Gearoid
[09-03, 20:55] Steve T Evening
[09-03, 20:55] Gearoid Grassy -
[09-03, 20:55] baracouda Irving would win this in an av. real but Vautour has the better form . I've backed both e/w at 10/1 and 8/1 soz.
[09-03, 20:56] Carl Evening lads, looking forward to the chat.
[09-03, 20:56] Kauto Abu Does The Liquidator go?
[09-03, 20:56] JamesRB Backed Irving post Kempton. Too short now.
[09-03, 20:56] Grasshopper Deloitte form is rock-solid.......Vautour and TTT a mile clear.......Vautour good enough for me
[09-03, 20:56] JamesRB Betfair indicating it looks dodgy Kauto
[09-03, 20:56] JamesRB we'll see tomorrow
[09-03, 20:56] baracouda Haven't even bothered looking outside of the fornt 2 to be honest - both top stables and best form.
[09-03, 20:57] Grasshopper He fdoes, Kauto....usually very slowly
[09-03, 20:57] JamesRB ground probably against him as well
[09-03, 20:57] Gearoid Irving will be 3/1 minimum on day.
[09-03, 20:58] Kauto Abu Ha ha Grassy. He came back a sick horse from the Tolworth. Doubt he makes it. Very good course form.
[09-03, 20:58] baracouda The liquidator rings abell I'm sure that I've got him in 2 bets but fecked if I remember which race . I'm printing off a hard copy later.
[09-03, 20:59] Grasshopper course form is highly questionable, imo Kauto.....soft, four-runner event in a bog....can't have him myself
[09-03, 20:59] Double Handful What about Wilde Blue Yonder...?
[09-03, 20:59] Grasshopper Can';t have anythign that's fallen twice on the bounce...
[09-03, 20:59] JamesRB would dive at a hurdle in a walkover
[09-03, 20:59] Kauto Abu He'll fall....again.... Yonder
[09-03, 20:59] baracouda Anything going to improve for the forecast going?
[09-03, 20:59] Gearoid WDY def runs
[09-03, 21:00] Double Handful but if he stayed up........?
[09-03, 21:00] Kauto Abu Most of them.
[09-03, 21:00] Grasshopper short on class anyway, no?
[09-03, 21:00] Maruco Evening all. Two falls and King's form still looks in and out.
[09-03, 21:00] chroniclandlord Fwiw Shark Hanlon is a big Liquidator fan, raved about him at the Blaney preview night
[09-03, 21:00] baracouda Any listed class good ground flat breds running that I have bothered noting?
[09-03, 21:01] Double Handful most likely Grassy... Just throwing it out there. Someone on here put me onto it
[09-03, 21:01] dvds2000 Hi to all those joining us just now, scroll up if you want to read whats been said so far
[09-03, 21:01] BigRob whats the best way of taking advantage of PP offer,,back the top 2 to win or back the top 3 or 4 in the market in anyones opinion
[09-03, 21:01] Grasshopper Yeah, but he keeps telling us Hidden Cyclone is ready to go in too!
[09-03, 21:01] Tout Seul Hi all, nice to be warming up for the week. as if that was necessary
[09-03, 21:01] baracouda Just checked and I'm on 20/1 NRNB liquidator.
[09-03, 21:01] Grasshopper Hi, TS
[09-03, 21:01] Kauto Abu Josses hill may not make it. A bit iver cooked. Geragthy def goes for Vaniteaux.
[09-03, 21:02] Grasshopper Supreme a three-horse race...Vautour, WB and Irving
[09-03, 21:02] Maruco Splash of Ginge each way?
[09-03, 21:02] BigRob l wouldn't be laying with betfair
[09-03, 21:02] Gearoid bigRob - back 3/4 in the race IMO
[09-03, 21:03] Kauto Abu WB cant jump.
[09-03, 21:03] baracouda Even if SOG improved 7lb for the going preference he wouldn't be good enough to place IMO

[09-03, 21:03] Gearoid Someone's just put up Rathlin to me in the Rynair? WTF
[09-03, 21:03] chroniclandlord Can't see a surprise, top three in the market are good horses
[09-03, 21:04] Tout Seul Irving looks classy but too soft for me. Need a battler which I can't find
[09-03, 21:04] baracouda Has Channon got a GP3 Class horse running?
[09-03, 21:04] BigRob thanks thats what l was leaning towards, probably 3 with a smaller bet on 4th is what l'll do
[09-03, 21:04] edgt Vautour very good at Leop
[09-03, 21:05] fonz Hows it going folks, Sgt Reckless is it
[09-03, 21:05] Maruco No watering, genuine chance of ground close to good. With the principles showing best form with a toe in I can see a surprise.
[09-03, 21:05] Double Handful Vautour - Soft lead on soft ground
[09-03, 21:05] baracouda I 'm on Vautour by at least 4L over Irving.
[09-03, 21:06] Kauto Abu The top 3 or 4 will shorten up 2moro when Faugheen comes out.
[09-03, 21:06] Double Handful Mitck Fitz Gave Sgt. Reck a mention today on ATR - proper good ground
[09-03, 21:06] Grasshopper Soft lead on ly really counts iof he comes back to them....he just kept going away....class horse and likely winner for me
[09-03, 21:06] JamesRB faugheen is 110 to lay on betfair, don't think they'll shorten much at all
[09-03, 21:06] baracouda Yes Sgt Reckless.Cheers. I'm might have a 10 quid e/w.
[09-03, 21:06] JamesRB everyone knows he goes neptune
[09-03, 21:07] edgt Nothing soft about his lead or his performance that day. They went a decent gallop that day.
[09-03, 21:07] Double Handful I' agree Marco - looking for an outsider. Primed for a surprise imo
[09-03, 21:07] Gearoid Right so conclusion on the Supreme preview = no one learnt anything.
[09-03, 21:07] Kauto Abu Beat West Wizard who's held in high esteem
[09-03, 21:07] dvds2000 ok, shall we move onto race 2 now, we can't spend forever on each race or we will be here all night
[09-03, 21:07] JamesRB always a tough race to call. be interesting to see if there's a big mover on the day. vaniteaux? gilgamboa?
[09-03, 21:07] Grasshopper Baracuda....is there a horse running at the Festival that you haven't backed?
[09-03, 21:08] Double Handful it's not 9:15 yet !
[09-03, 21:08] Tout Seul will wait for day for poss Josses
[09-03, 21:08] fonz Irving has the beating of him on a line through amore alato though kauto
[09-03, 21:08] granger Ha
[09-03, 21:08] swedish chef Arkle - I'm all over Rock On Ruby
[09-03, 21:08] edgt Rock On Ruby a Cheltenham horse. Good going to suit him better than others imo
[09-03, 21:08] Grasshopper Arkle.......Valdez for me.......not confident, but he is a sound jumper and it's an open race
[09-03, 21:08] JamesRB have rock on ruby at 16/1 e/w
[09-03, 21:08] JamesRB but, not too confident
[09-03, 21:09] Kauto Abu Me too. On Ruby at 12s.
[09-03, 21:09] JamesRB not sure on prep and it all seems an afterthought
[09-03, 21:09] Steve T Arkle = ABCF (anyhorse but Champagne Fever)
[09-03, 21:09] Simon Good evening chaps, Champagne Fever will win the Arkle
[09-03, 21:09] JamesRB after getting thumped by TNO
[09-03, 21:09] Perpetual I'm on Rock on Rub as well, but looks short enough now at 9/2
[09-03, 21:09] JamesRB champ fever.....another poor prep
[09-03, 21:09] littlelad tentative vote for dodging bullets, not sure if he is genuine enough
[09-03, 21:09] chroniclandlord Selection Champagne Fever, danger Rock on Ruby
[09-03, 21:09] Grasshopper I'm expecting TS along in a moment to confirm that, Simon
[09-03, 21:09] granger one of the two irish. Champagne best horse in race, Trifolium more natural two miler
[09-03, 21:09] Gearoid It's a race to play the MBS with PP and move on
[09-03, 21:09] JamesRB so yeah, no idea
[09-03, 21:09] Perpetual Too quick now for Trefolium?
[09-03, 21:09] JamesRB happy to chance ROR at 16/1 e/w, be happy if he places
[09-03, 21:10] Halward Rock on ruby for me also
[09-03, 21:10] Tout Seul I'm on Champagne, wins me money and competiions. though less confident
[09-03, 21:10] baracouda I've backed 50 horses across 17 races in the Graded races alone.!!!!
[09-03, 21:10] Double Handful I'm starting to get that March Fever again... Champagne blossoms at the festival....
[09-03, 21:10] Kauto Abu Think dodging bullets might have left his Arkle behind against Module. Terrible ground & only a few weeks ago
[09-03, 21:10] Simon Champagne Fever's jumping the other day was the best I've seen from any novice this year, admittedly not a race but was really slick and faultless. Plus he loves Cheltenham.
[09-03, 21:10] chroniclandlord Champagne Fever's jumping down the back straight at Leop was as good as anything all season
[09-03, 21:11] edgt No doubt about that Simon
[09-03, 21:11] Maruco Champagne Fever a good thing. Will win easily. Grandouet a forgotten horse on better ground.
[09-03, 21:11] Steve T ROR is too short for his achievements over the larger obstacles, I'll be against the front 2 in the market
[09-03, 21:11] Double Handful From what I've seen, I think Bodging Bullets has best form, but the his form has dropped off last 2 Springs
[09-03, 21:11] dvds2000 ROR ew for me too, only got on at 10's though
[09-03, 21:11] Kauto Abu It wasnt so good when Defy Logic pressed him tho.
[09-03, 21:11] JamesRB can't have grandouet, should have just left him hurdling, looks for all the world like he doesn't shape for a fence
[09-03, 21:11] Jakers Champagne Fever for me too
[09-03, 21:11] Double Handful Kauto - CF never wins in December
[09-03, 21:11] HawkWing Think that Ruby was willing to go toe-to-toe with Defy Logic suggests that they are very happy with his jumping. Was minded after the mistake.
[09-03, 21:11] BigRob steve t why do you not like champagne fever?
[09-03, 21:12] chroniclandlord Before he clouted the second last he looked to have Defy Logic's measure
[09-03, 21:12] Simon I have Vautour, Champagne Fever, Hurricane Fly and Quevega in an accumulator to provide Ruby/Willie a vintage first day, here's hoping
[09-03, 21:12] edgt Agree HW
[09-03, 21:12] JamesRB arnaud might press champ fever for the lead, could be a worry
[09-03, 21:12] swedish chef ROR to put them all to the test - make all
[09-03, 21:12] Gearoid I really don't understand the Trifolium plunge. 6 horses can win this IMO. Just a case of what CF is let do in front. I think Dodging Bullets is nailed on to place
[09-03, 21:12] baracouda I've backed 3 Trifolium win and e/w . ROR e/w and Champagne fever win only but now I'm strong on champagne fever on the ground
[09-03, 21:12] Kauto Abu Ya but he's always got his way up front. First time he was pressed=mistake
[09-03, 21:12] edgt Fehily riding out of his skin too
[09-03, 21:13] Kauto Surely CF gets run of race like supreme last year
[09-03, 21:13] Double Handful 1. CF 2. DB - Can't have Gradouet, Valdez or ROR.... Not sure bout Trifolium
[09-03, 21:13] Grasshopper Harder for CF to get to front in Arkle maybe.....RoR will want to front-run
[09-03, 21:13] swedish chef Not with ROR he wont
[09-03, 21:14] Double Handful ROR - Fry qouted as saying happy to sit behind CF
[09-03, 21:14] HawkWing Dont think that leading is crucial for CF
[09-03, 21:14] fonz CF and ROR for me, imo out and out moderate 2milers don't win arkles
[09-03, 21:14] granger Not a vintage Arkle methinks
[09-03, 21:14] Gearoid Valdez jumps to the right. Not ideal
[09-03, 21:14] EC1 hello
[09-03, 21:14] Grasshopper CF and RoR could end up cutting each others throats
[09-03, 21:14] Kauto they won't want to make same mistake with for in ch and go too hard
[09-03, 21:14] JamesRB felix yonger should be in this
[09-03, 21:14] edgt Jumping at speed might try them all though...
[09-03, 21:14] Kauto Think they'll sit in just behind knowing CF will do job
[09-03, 21:14] baracouda ROR could be the next Sizing Europe.
[09-03, 21:14] Tout Seul They will run alongside him and maybe that will set him thinking. I have concerns though the improving ground might enable to set a pace the others cannot maintain
[09-03, 21:14] Gearoid Can't see that happening Grassy. They will be left alone in front
[09-03, 21:14] chroniclandlord sure I'd have liked to see CF run since Christmas time but even so still the one to beat
[09-03, 21:15] HawkWing Can anyone remember an instance where Ruby cut his horses throat?
[09-03, 21:15] dvds2000 hey EC & everyone else just coming in
[09-03, 21:15] granger trolling barracuda?
[09-03, 21:15] EC1 Trifoilum for me in the Arkle, front runners will take each other on
[09-03, 21:15] Double Handful You still Fancy Valdez Grassy, pick up the pieces sort of thing?
[09-03, 21:15] Maruco PFN thinks Hinterland a good chance in Champion Chase. If so Grandouet goes close here.

[09-03, 21:16] chroniclandlord I think it might prove quite a good arkle
[09-03, 21:16] Kauto If it's picking up pieces Grandohet could be horse
[09-03, 21:16] HawkWing The best asset for trifolium is his jumping. Debut at Thurles as good as Ive ever seen a novice jump. Doesnt have the class to use it to full advantage IMO
[09-03, 21:16] baracouda No Granger just standing up for us everyday men.
[09-03, 21:16] Grasshopper backed Valdez early on season.......not confident, but don't have a strong enough opinion on the others to justify another bet
[09-03, 21:16] Gearoid The strength of CF in the market despite the ideal prep says it all. I can't have him, something will travel up to him two out.
[09-03, 21:16] Kauto Strong on CF saver grand he was travelling like best horse in ch last year ground going in favour
[09-03, 21:17] Double Handful I see DB being the 'picking up the pieces. horse if they go to fast in front
[09-03, 21:17] chroniclandlord I don't fancy valdez to make the first four
[09-03, 21:17] Grasshopper Granouet won't get home
[09-03, 21:17] littlelad db can be quite keen himself at times...
[09-03, 21:17] fonz is it important for CF to make all though?i cant really remember him not trying to make every post a winning one
[09-03, 21:18] JamesRB with the right prep, winning at xmas etc, CF would be close to even money if not lower
[09-03, 21:18] Kauto How often have we seen horses with jumping frailties before arkle recently straighten themselves out on day
[09-03, 21:18] Simon I don't trust Grandouet, he's either a dog or doesn't stay, surely?
[09-03, 21:18] JamesRB if you aren't worried about that, lump on id say, similar season last year
[09-03, 21:18] JamesRB and he wont a very strong supreme
[09-03, 21:18] JamesRB talking myself into this now
[09-03, 21:18] JamesRB won*
[09-03, 21:19] Gearoid DH - I think the race sets up for DB but you wouldn't trust him (or many horses) to go by CF up the hill but still enough reasons to take on CF at the prices
[09-03, 21:19] Kauto Captain Chris, tidal bay, could see grandouet doing it
[09-03, 21:19] Kauto Abu How Far is My Tent Or Yours going to win the 2014 Champion Hurdle by?
[09-03, 21:19] baracouda This will be a v close finish.I think. one to roar home.
[09-03, 21:20] dvds2000 and on that note, lets move onto the Champion Hurdle
[09-03, 21:20] JamesRB beware the wave, or something else grassy said
[09-03, 21:20] Maruco I actually think there's value in CF's price!
[09-03, 21:20] Tout Seul Frailties I won't have- he's a novice!
[09-03, 21:20] Grasshopper No opinion on race
[09-03, 21:20] Double Handful
[09-03, 21:20] Kauto Abu Ha
[09-03, 21:20] Kauto Hasn't the thread said enough?
[09-03, 21:20] swedish chef Haha
[09-03, 21:20] baracouda OUR CONOR WINS BY A DISTANCE
[09-03, 21:20] neo05 Betting suspended on Betfair for CH
[09-03, 21:20] Kauto Next
[09-03, 21:20] granger The great horse will silence his doubters
[09-03, 21:20] Maruco
[09-03, 21:21] chroniclandlord Hurricane Fly is still the king
[09-03, 21:21] Gearoid With 3 places you HAVE to lay e/w as the place part is value in every runner.
[09-03, 21:21] swedish chef Our Conor - good luck to the Fly
[09-03, 21:21] Kauto Abu A
[09-03, 21:21] JamesRB in all honest, its all document to a ridiculous extent on the thread
[09-03, 21:21] edgt He will be until Tuesday anyway...
[09-03, 21:21] Kauto I'm going out on a limb the fly a place lay for me
[09-03, 21:21] baracouda Any one who's said that Hurricane Fly is going to win the Champion Hurdle has a sentimental heart.
[09-03, 21:22] Gearoid Bookmakers will bet this race to NOTHING Tuesday morning. 3/1 the field is possible
[09-03, 21:22] Double Handful CCB to lead, Jezki just in behind. MTOY & OC to travel like a dream but not find, and TNO to out stay the fly up the hill..
[09-03, 21:22] Double Handful Next
[09-03, 21:22] Grasshopper They're like ******* Morlocks on that thread, no I've said my piece.
[09-03, 21:22] Kauto If chance gone can't see ruby beating him up
[09-03, 21:22] Gareth Flynn There'll be some massively ridiculous controversy which will make it impossible for that thread to reach closure
[09-03, 21:22] Approach Would love to see Hurricane Fly win again but think The One might be the one this year
[09-03, 21:22] JamesRB as a fly fan, and backer, will say i fear MTOY more than the others
[09-03, 21:23] Maruco I'm with Double Handful on this. That's exactly how I read it.
[09-03, 21:23] edgt CCB wont be the rabbit folk make him out to be a la APOB in Epsom Derby last June
[09-03, 21:23] JamesRB good prep, has a pacemaker in to help him settle, always been a fan
[09-03, 21:23] baracouda I will be singing a song what I wrote and film it for youtube.
[09-03, 21:23] Halward Our Conor for me backed him last march for this
[09-03, 21:23] Gareth Flynn One of the majors will be brought down and all its fans will be "if he stood up he'd have won by half the track"
[09-03, 21:23] Grasshopper Justice will be served
[09-03, 21:23] Gearoid I think backing MTOY/Jezki/OC e/w is the way up play the race Tuesday morning depending on who you fancy
[09-03, 21:23] HawkWing Only opinion I have is that The One needs to be a few pounds better than required due to the jockey. Can see him travelling well coming down the hill but STD not sure whether he sticks or twists....
[09-03, 21:23] dvds2000 Im on Our Connor for this, would like to see the Fly win but justdon't think he will this year
[09-03, 21:23] granger whatever happens someone will blame Danny Mullins - nap
[09-03, 21:23] dvds2000 welcome Halward, see you got in now
[09-03, 21:24] JamesRB hope there's no big players falling, have a strange feeling there could be one, maybe even at the business end
[09-03, 21:24] chroniclandlord Our conor to win the race for second
[09-03, 21:24] baracouda Hello Halward you're one of us 'cleverer ones'
[09-03, 21:24] Double Handful granger
[09-03, 21:24] Maruco jezki fantastic ew value.
[09-03, 21:24] edgt Danny Mullins surely on a high after today
[09-03, 21:25] JamesRB jezki place lay. held on every bit of form ever.
[09-03, 21:25] Halward Thanks patience isn't my strong point just waited and it came up, cheers
[09-03, 21:25] Double Handful used up all his luck
[09-03, 21:25] granger even Danny Mullins couldn't get the fly beaten
[09-03, 21:25] Double Handful DM not had a Chelt winner yet.
[09-03, 21:25] Gearoid The tent is intriguing if they go a pace. When will TNO kick? Could really set up for one held up off the pace
[09-03, 21:25] Kauto Abu Ruby could tho. 2 years ago
[09-03, 21:26] Grasshopper Hurricane Fly will be held-up again......and will be last off the steel
[09-03, 21:26] Kauto Mtoy only one that would have been same league as the fly on the level
[09-03, 21:26] JamesRB im not sure any of the big 4 will want to take it up too early
[09-03, 21:26] Steve T Our Conor and the Tent to battle it out, OC wins, HF third
[09-03, 21:26] Maruco TNO just needs to be there at the last. He'll be the one finishing strongest.
[09-03, 21:26] Hamm Can we just agree no excuses when HF beaten?
[09-03, 21:26] chroniclandlord Horse wasn't at his best all that season
[09-03, 21:26] Tout Seul I was early on Jezki but now see him as plce back-can't see him winning though would love it
[09-03, 21:27] Hamm MTOY is the best ew bet of the festival.
[09-03, 21:27] Grasshopper Depends if I'm in a diva strop or not
[09-03, 21:27] HawkWing HF not being at his best at Cheltenham is the main hope of all others.
[09-03, 21:27] Gearoid Whoever said STD has a dilemma down the hill is spit on. When does he kick?
[09-03, 21:27] JamesRB as late as possible
[09-03, 21:27] granger Pace maker is in. Best horse on day wins
[09-03, 21:28] JamesRB TNO is all turn of foot, still not convinced he's a strong stayer
[09-03, 21:28] swedish chef The FLY has an excuse if he loses he's 10yo
[09-03, 21:28] Maruco He doesn't. He hangs on to him to the last.
[09-03, 21:28] granger tno equals after last hurdle gearoid
[09-03, 21:28] Hamm Swedish, if he's good enough 10 no excuse..
[09-03, 21:28] Double Handful Preferably TNO kick at exact spot as he did in last year Nep., when pinged the last...
[09-03, 21:28] Double Handful But in this race likely earlier
[09-03, 21:28] JamesRB frankly i'm going to be disappointed if all 4 aren't upsides each other at the last
[09-03, 21:29] edgt Me too James
[09-03, 21:29] Maruco Why earlier?
[09-03, 21:29] Grasshopper No age excuses for HF.....he hasn't shown any regression as close as 6 weeks back......all I want is for him to run his race....the win will take care of itself if he does
[09-03, 21:29] Gearoid You'd love to think they'd go a good pace and no hard luck stories but it rarely works out that way. If they ignore CCB where are we then? STD winding it up 2 out?
[09-03, 21:29] Hamm I think MTOY has to be last off the bridle AND AP needs to hold on to him till after the last
[09-03, 21:29] JamesRB its going to be fasciniating tactically
[09-03, 21:29] HawkWing Far from convinced he will run away from the CH field like he did in the Neptune. STD's lack of experience is something to be factored in. D Mullins also.
[09-03, 21:29] Kauto They'll be some in running carnage on betfair
[09-03, 21:29] JamesRB dont think any horse will want to go early
[09-03, 21:29] Grasshopper TNO will have left it too late to wind it up if he starts 2 out
[09-03, 21:30] Double Handful why earlier- pace will be higher sooner
[09-03, 21:30] JamesRB can see jezki maybe taking it up 2 out but not sure at all with ccb in race now
[09-03, 21:30] Grasshopper TNo and Jezki have to go early, ot they'll get chinned for toe
[09-03, 21:30] JamesRB dont have a clue how it'll pan out
[09-03, 21:30] edgt Ted Walsh on the ball today. If its a scrap HF wins. Any horse to beat him has to be clear by or after the last
[09-03, 21:30] swedish chef Who did TNO beat last year? - the form hasn't been franked.
[09-03, 21:30] HawkWing For MTOY fans - is he that much better when he couldnt beat CF last year. If CF was campaigned differently, would he be 6/1 shot in this?
[09-03, 21:30] Maruco What happens when they wind it up and HF hits his flat spot?
[09-03, 21:30] baracouda Our Conor got close enough to Hurricane fly last time to fill me with enough confidence to assume that he will improve another 5lb for the run and progression for age.

[09-03, 21:31] Hamm TNO going off favourite will be up there with the bermuda triangle come Tuesday mid afternoon..
[09-03, 21:31] Grasshopper flat spot yer hole
[09-03, 21:31] Double Handful MTOY - He held on to until after the last , last year, and could not go past....
[09-03, 21:31] Grasshopper - good one, Hamm
[09-03, 21:31] swedish chef though you didn't have an opinion Grassy
[09-03, 21:31] Hamm Flat spotS
[09-03, 21:32] JamesRB still fairly sure if HF is level after the last with any of these horses, i fancy him to get it done
[09-03, 21:32] Grasshopper I don't, swedish - I'm only here to ensure that the truth is represented
[09-03, 21:32] Gearoid Its a strange one Hamm. The market has a massive TNO hard on
[09-03, 21:32] Grasshopper
[09-03, 21:32] JamesRB has a voracious will to win none of the others seem to have for me
[09-03, 21:32] baracouda Will OC even have to scrap ?I visualize him swinging in and cruising past the field.
[09-03, 21:32] chroniclandlord TNO is a stayer, a good stayer, but a stayer nonetheless
[09-03, 21:32] Hamm Could HF not kick on first of the 4?
[09-03, 21:32] Grasshopper can we move on?
[09-03, 21:32] Maruco CF sent over fences and not considered good enough to win this. So how is MTOY?
[09-03, 21:32] BigRob l things for sure do bets in ladbrokes shops if possible,,lm pretty sure if HF finishes second they are refunding on him as well
[09-03, 21:32] Tout Seul One big plus for Jezki is BG riding, I don't know what Ap has been doing with him
[09-03, 21:32] JamesRB lets move on
[09-03, 21:33] Gareth Flynn I find everything I back wins in my visualisations
[09-03, 21:33] dvds2000 Quick reminder, we have a facebook page now, just click the like button next to the banner at the top of the page
[09-03, 21:33] JamesRB there's about 4000 pages of this rhetoric on the forum
[09-03, 21:33] Kauto Ruby said he'll ride him different to last year
[09-03, 21:33] Hamm You are mad if you think Jezki's problem has been AP..
[09-03, 21:33] Gearoid Important question- After the Champion who actually cares what happens the rest of the festival?
[09-03, 21:33] HawkWing OC jumping the last in front and being out-fought by 1.5l in Leoparstown is not a plus for the horse. I cant see it in any way being a positive. HF will eat him in a battle.
[09-03, 21:33] Grasshopper Can only answer that questipon after the Champion, gearoid
[09-03, 21:33] Maruco Grassy and Granger. They'll be suicidal!!!
[09-03, 21:34] baracouda I do , what's for dinner?
[09-03, 21:34] HawkWing Quevega will be interesting.
[09-03, 21:34] Kauto Abu MTOY was trained solely for the Betfair last year. 3 weeks later he had to peak again for Betfair. Very tough ask for any horse. Fresh this year. Different story. Kempton all over again.
[09-03, 21:34] Tout Seul Maruco , that's a false premise. They Think CF is going to be a great Chaser.
[09-03, 21:34] Grasshopper I will be chin-up......I learned in 2012 it's not that big a deal
[09-03, 21:34] marble I couldn't give a monkeys who wins, as long as my e/w bets on Melodic are landed I'm chuffed
[09-03, 21:34] Gearoid Facebook? Is that the place where lads try to tap your missus?
[09-03, 21:34] Kauto Abu *supreme
[09-03, 21:34] edgt They should have been suplemented as pacemakers !
[09-03, 21:34] dvds2000 Shall we move on to the next race now guys, sorry to rush but we don't want to be here till 3am
[09-03, 21:35] Gearoid FFS - Melodic will be ran over. Won't finish in the first 5
[09-03, 21:35] swedish chef Melodic will finish nearer last on the likely going
[09-03, 21:35] Kauto Abu quevaga wins. End of.
[09-03, 21:36] Tout Seul As earlier - don't think Jezki will win but do think Ap has ridden him strangely
[09-03, 21:36] Grasshopper Glens Melody a sporting one against the fave
[09-03, 21:36] Grasshopper Assuming Walksh runs her
[09-03, 21:36] Maruco Guevega vulnerable this time. Exclude from multiples.
[09-03, 21:36] Grasshopper er...Mullins runs her
[09-03, 21:36] JamesRB nothing to lay on betfair, indicating she may not run
[09-03, 21:36] marble That's not what Phillip Schofield said on Friday, SW
[09-03, 21:37] Simon How is she vulnerable?
[09-03, 21:37] baracouda I'm strongly with Cockney sparrow e/w@8/1with A P riding .
[09-03, 21:37] Halward Is it just me but quevega yawn
[09-03, 21:37] Grasshopper Phili Schofield?.....gets his tips from Gordon the Gopher
[09-03, 21:37] JamesRB can't back quevega at odds after last year's scramble job, is odd they never give her at least 1 run for me, given how she performed at punchestown compared to cheltenham, it seems she improves for one
[09-03, 21:37] chroniclandlord Mullins wins, any chinks in Quevega, Glens Melody is the next best.
[09-03, 21:38] BigRob what odds will the bookies go on the day ,l'd say evens will easily be got
[09-03, 21:38] Simon Epee Celeste wins :L
[09-03, 21:38] edgt On the brink of history I hope
[09-03, 21:38] swedish chef Looking for an e/way and I think Highland Retreat is going the right way
[09-03, 21:38] Double Handful What about Sirene DAinay ?
[09-03, 21:38] dvds2000 if i have a bet in this it will be laying quevega
[09-03, 21:38] marble Good to Soft and I'll be topping up on Melodic, and firmer and I'll trade a bit off
[09-03, 21:38] Gearoid Really? I'd say she'll be a hard 4/5. This is the worst mares hurdle of all time
[09-03, 21:38] chroniclandlord But for the stumble last year Quevega would have won in a canter
[09-03, 21:39] Kauto Sirene DAinay
[09-03, 21:39] Kauto 2nd last year can't see being out of frame
[09-03, 21:39] Simon I don't see how this is even a discussion, nothing gets close to her
[09-03, 21:39] Gearoid sirene DAinay needs soft in the going description
[09-03, 21:39] Grasshopper Not sure I agree, Gearoid...Glens Melody one of the better ebats she'll have faced
[09-03, 21:39] Grasshopper *beasts
[09-03, 21:39] Kauto No better of a race
[09-03, 21:40] JamesRB if glens melody wins this, annie power will look pretty good
[09-03, 21:40] Tout Seul in the bar for this
[09-03, 21:40] Grasshopper what TS said
[09-03, 21:40] Gearoid Yeah be scares of a mate that's 30 on the machine and nothing on the lay side
[09-03, 21:40] HawkWing Mullins will know what glen's melody has.
[09-03, 21:40] Gearoid FFS GRASSY WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING
[09-03, 21:40] BigRob l think she's been available evens every year and a year older this year,,
[09-03, 21:41] swedish chef SD form in France not good this year only won a 5 runner race L/T/O because fav and 2nd fav fell
[09-03, 21:41] baracouda Quevga beat Grade 2 horses by 4L and Cockney Sparrow gets beat Ll by MTOY. Cockney Sparrow wins.
[09-03, 21:41] Gearoid Glens Melody won't be in the first 6
[09-03, 21:41] Grasshopper Nothing special.........I haven;t paid any attention to Marees market....Glens Melody might NR....if she goes, she;s useful, that;'s all
[09-03, 21:42] Maruco Sirene D'ainay got too close last year. Three unexposed improvers and Cockney Sparrow. Quevega run to end.
[09-03, 21:42] Simon Surely she won't run, Mullins won't want anything to get in the way of the 6 timer
[09-03, 21:42] swedish chef I like Cockney Sparrow as well
[09-03, 21:43] Gearoid Cockney Sparrows last run was horrific. Place lay
[09-03, 21:43] dvds2000 ok guys, that race seems to have ran its course now onto Terry Biddlecombe National Hunt Chase Amateur Riders´ Novices´ Chase
[09-03, 21:43] marble Mullins followers steam in to the mare to recoup losses after The Fly falters and get done by a 20/1 shot
[09-03, 21:44] Halward I did like highland retreat but think the grounds gone against her
[09-03, 21:44] Grasshopper I'm really sweet on Shotgun Paddy for the 4-miler
[09-03, 21:44] swedish chef Corrin Wood – Black Thunder – Ballycasey
[09-03, 21:44] swedish chef whichever runs
[09-03, 21:44] Grasshopper None of them three are running, Swedish
[09-03, 21:44] Gearoid Right is that Tuesday done? Other races are ahite?
[09-03, 21:44] edgt Interesting that Robbie Mc rides for Hemmings and not Richard Harding, whatever happened.
[09-03, 21:44] Grasshopper All RSA I believe
[09-03, 21:45] baracouda I've backed 2 Fox rock win and e/w @7/1 and Shutthefrontdoor e/w '14/1
[09-03, 21:45] edgt Art Of Logistics must have a great chance in last race.
[09-03, 21:45] Gearoid I can see Foxrock going off insanely short, like 2/1
[09-03, 21:45] dvds2000 yep i was thinking that too Gearoid
[09-03, 21:45] Simon Foxrock - and won't mind good ground
[09-03, 21:45] Double Handful Midnight Prayer & Just a Par
[09-03, 21:46] Maruco Lay Nicholls horses in this. Race has changed and the market is a good guide. No more another Rum's or Hot Weld's.
[09-03, 21:46] Simon Just A Par runs in the RS
[09-03, 21:46] Simon A
[09-03, 21:46] baracouda A lot of the TV pundits in IRE have him as their bet of the meet
[09-03, 21:46] swedish chef They are still all entered Grassy - I think one will run
[09-03, 21:46] Double Handful But Apparently Owners pushing Nicholls to send Just a Par to RSA
[09-03, 21:46] JamesRB The Romford Pele in the 2m4f novice handicap, if he gets in
[09-03, 21:46] baracouda FOXROCK that is
[09-03, 21:46] Grasshopper I also like M Id night Paryer but was hoping he'd go in the 3m hcap
[09-03, 21:47] chroniclandlord Foxrock the pick of the Irish entries
[09-03, 21:47] Double Handful Think Midnight Prayer is a cert for 4m Grassy
[09-03, 21:47] Jakers Hoping Annacotty runs the hcap chase instead of RSA, if not Hadrians Approach well in
[09-03, 21:47] swedish chef Baylis & Harding H’cap – Hadrian’s Approach
[09-03, 21:47] Double Handful I backed Just a Par at 40/1 - but resigned to fact now he won't go in 4 miler
