Cheltenham Challenge Winter Tipping Competition 2019/2020
Rules
On each race day at Cheltenham for the duration of the 2019/2020 season, (but not Hunter Chase Evening), dates listed below, players have a choice of EITHER ONE, TWO OR FOUR SELECTIONS. One selection will be treated as £100 win, two selections will be treated as £50 win on each horse and four selections as £25 win on each horse, SP’s as per Racing Post. Selections each day must be in by the start of the first race and no alterations are permitted thereafter, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Stake money will not be included in any returns, losing selections result in losing the virtual stake. Reserves are permitted, but whatever your eventual selection is, if it is a non runner, the virtual stake is placed on the horse with the lowest race card number. For the purpose of this competition any Rule 4 deductions will be ignored.
During the Cheltenham Festival meeting each DAILY winner will receive a £50 bonus and the winner over the WHOLE MEETING a £100 bonus.
Each DAILY winner of the other meetings will receive a £25 bonus and the winner for EACH WHOLE MEETING £50. In January the New Years Day fixture and the Festival Trials Day count as one WHOLE MEETING for the purposes of the competition.If there are any ties the bonus will be shared equally.
There must be a minimum of two meetings in any one month for the WHOLE MEETING bonus to be awarded, furthermore players who do not post on each day of the meeting lose the right to the whole meeting bonus and it will be awarded to the top scoring player who has entered each day, assuming more than one.
The winning player will be the one achieving the highest profit or smallest loss over the entire season, however he/she must have made selections on a minimum of ten race days. In the event of a tie, there will be a play off on the Hunter Chase evening.
