Zorro always finished on a cliffhanger, but the next episode would begin with the cliffhanger looking not as dangerous. I was always convinced it was two different scenes.

Black Beauty was mince.

I got a Zorro outfit for Christmas - black cape, hat and eyemask and a sword. I went about scratching a big Z everywhere in the house. He was my hero in those days.

I bet your wife was pretty pissed-off!

Im a bit too young for Black Beauty (I think), and can only just remember vague bits about CTWH - my favourite thing when I was dinky was Jamie and the Magic Torch.....

And then theres Mr Ed....... <_<

The thing about CTWH was that he was quite crap - Rebel the dog was the real star rather like Spot the cat in Hong Kong Phooey

I loved Black Beauty and Follyfoot, but my favourite programme was Button Moon. It was superb :D

I think we can blame the terrible quality of 1980s children's programmes for much of society's problems - with margaret thatcher and timmy mallett what chance did people like PDJ have :D

BB and Zorro were OK, I prefered White Horses and Belle and Sebastian.
One childhood programme that was ummissable was Wacky Races........

Hey Muttley you snickering hound!!!!!!

Wacky Races (& Stop The Pigeon) were very good but you'd have to go a long way to beat Dangermouse - absolute class! Like Griffin, I loved Button Moon too, & Jamie & The Magic Torch like Trudi. Another couple of supremely goo programmes were Dungeons & Dragons, Cities of Gold & Knightmare. I managed to catch Knightmare on Sky at some point last year - it was such a good programme.

I loved Wacky Races! Especially The Ant Hill Mob and the Slag Brothers.

I also really enjoyed Terrahawks but I was in my 20s when I first saw it. I thought it was way too clever for kids.
