For anybody interested.

The 2yo's look a very nice bunch which include a full sister to Motivator.
Having lost a few good ones in Wake Up Maggie, Expensive, Night Cru and Paradise Isle we are hoping that the three decent 3yo's last year (Premio Loco, Royal Rock and Sundae) all rated in the 90's improve to group class.

Fudge, when did Scripted join you, i know for a fact that Luca Cumani regarded it very highly early on last year and he was very weak.

Have you sat on him ?

He came to us about 4 months ago and has been gelded and had a wind op. He is due to run in the next couple of weeks and is only moderate/average. No i have not sat on him but have worked with him in his last two gallops.

Cheers Fudge;

Shame that, he was a horse I was hoping would have the 4yo treatment with this year, hope he turns out alright, this time last year they thought he was gonna be an 80 horse.

Who owns the sister to Motivator fudge?
Mr S Fustok owns her. He actually has the mare and sold Motivator as a yearling but wants to keep this one for breeding. She isnt very big and is an awkward ride as im having the pleasure of everyday at the minute.

Venusian i hadnt noticed that to be honest but yes that is weird.

And Arkwright, Night Cru is fancied to go close as we have been informed that he is one of Jonjo's best hurdlers and they have just been waiting for nice ground for him and are hoping for a big run today before Cheltenham.

Hi Fudge, We are expecting our Nayef foal soon and was wondering what Ministerofinterior is like now as he only had the one run last year. Thanks Landlark

A fair run by Scripted at Kempton tonight, shouldn't get too high a mark and ought to be able to win at least a hcap if not a modest maiden.

It was probably a fair enough race but I'd be concerned about him not seeing his race out again given it seems like he's had breathing problems in the past - unless he was badly in need of the run - though you'd obviously know whether that was the case or not far more than I.

I was told last night about a 2yr old with Chris Wall to watch for, called Della Fenestra he thought
I see she or iirc rather she is not on your list - unless she's one of the unnamed ones?

Landlark - He is probably the worst one in the yard, he was tailed off at Haydock when i took him and has been gelded since but still is just one big playboy he is just along with the otheres starting to do good canters again so we will have to see but im pretty sure he still wont win a gallop even at home this year!!!

Arkwright and David Johnson - We were very pleased with that run as it was his first for a while and he has come out of it fine and just waiting to see what mark he gets, we are just hoping it isnt too high as he probably ran better than expected because he was allowed to dominate and had the run of the race.

Headstrong - Dalla Finestra is on the list but is a 3yo, she was very nice last year but has her problems and is a bit tricky, her wind isnt very good and she aint keen on the stalls neither. She is coming along nicely as she is bigger and stronger so we will have to see how she progresses.

Thanks Fudge nd Jamie. Silly me, how did I miss her on the list thinking she was a 2yr old, esp as I'd been told about the stalls problems!

Della Finestra is Italian for 'Out of/From The Window', curious name!

Ah, the Pulchritudinous Jane Morris! Della Finestra also means 'of the window'
Rossetti liked to paint women in a window in homage to the Renaissance artists...
I wrote most of a book on him 15 years or so ago - the contract got scrapped when the US publisher pulled out as he'd heard of another book coming down the pipeline on Rossetti [you need UK and US for illustrated books otherwise the sums don't add up]. Sadly there was no other US publisher doing art books at the time so that was me scuppered!
