Was giving this some thought earlier. This is what I relish most.

1. Samcro Vs Faugheen
2. Cyrname vs LIT
3. Fakir Vs Laurina
4. End of road for Apples Jade?
5. Abacadabas Vs Envoi Allen again.
6. Bumpers. lots of 'em.

Be awesome if we actually see them. Unfortunately wouldn’t surprise me to see some swerve.

However, so far, this NH season has been a massive upgrade on last year. Touch wood, we’ve also not had that many injuries to big names.

Plenty of time for that to change though.

I'm not entirely convinced we'll see Envoi vs Aba. I think he'll be stepped up in trip & go Naas in the new year.
Agreed though, great time of year for racing.
Samcro vs Faugheen at Limerick? Samcro will smash him to bits...

“The plan is Envoi Allen misses Christmas and comes to Naas, I think the race was made for him”

If I had to look at just one race over Christmas it would be the King George

If there is one horse i'd love to see out over Christmas it is Chacun Pour Soi

If I had one wish for Christmas it would be that you all have at least one winner that pays for something nice

The King George has always been the Christmas highlight since Captain Christy 1975.
Great memories since.
Hopeful for 4 days at Leopardstown; 26 is teenagers day out with little or no racing fans present, which surprised me when I was there 2 years ago.
Great racing for all.
Enjoy and watch any owner/bred filly looking for a maiden win as a 2 or especially 3 year old on all weather over the next week; there have been a few tasty ones over the past few years.

Captain Christy is one horse I wish I could have experienced

Have seen loads of Arkle, the mare would have been pretty special too but she wasn't really really top class

The Irish declarations for 26th are due this morning - if anybody sees them before I do can the link them here please. Interested most in the G1 Novice Chases, Leop and Limerick.

Solomon Grey hopefully proving he is very well handicapped in the first race on ITV 4 Boxing Day.

A handicap good thing possibly!

Seen he was declared and wondered how long it would be before being posted on here. Not looked at the race yet, but best of luck, hope he brings you home Christmas joy.

Yeah.

I couldn't back anything against him, not on his first start in a handicap chase.

Some would say, it could well be a win-well by half the track situation or get pulled up with not much in between.

The magic sign have gone shortist, only 8/1 with Ladbrokes now.

This has to be my Christmas NAP. :)

Oh Dear God, NOOOO!

Both Charles Byrnes and Tony Martin have one in the Handicap Hurdle!

Will nobody think of the children?

Cracking race with Delta Work just getting better of very brave Monalee. Kemboy I thought ran extremely well and P Percy and Road to Respect also bang there.

Presenting Percy is the most over rated horse in training atm. He’s a good horse, but he’s solid if unspectacular. I don’t like the trainer either. He’s probably over hyped an all. Hearing words of genius for him is just silly.

There has been fewer more impressive winners of the RSA Chase. Last year was a disaster but it wasnt only Kelly that struggled on that front with the ground. I think he wont be too upset with that performance but it remains to be seen if he ever gets back to the RSA form.
