Just opened all pressies. Dougal, my little stray, has a huge mound of paper to play in and is merrily scuffling around under it all, chasing his new catnip mouse.
Redhead II has a birthday today, so has just got up after sleeping very late. Lunch is in the oven and all other preps are done, so Nephew and I are going for a wander through the fields with his new camera.
We still have a deep cover of snow, but it is a glorious sunny day and we want to catch some pictures while the wonderful scenery lasts (he is only 17 and this is the first time there has been snow at Christmas in his lifetime).
The rest of the family have been told that they may visit tomorrow but that - until further notice - other days of the week are off limits!
The New Year is not looking too prosperous at present as I was snowed in until yesterday, so won't be getting paid for this week. There's a good start to 2011. I need a good win!!
However, sod it, it's Christmas and I'm going to enjoy it!
