Classic comedy acts

So much fun in the world - whether it's broad 'n' basic, or sharp and sarky, there really is a sense of humour for everyone. Love all those, in their own way and from their own time, Clivex.

My neighbour is due to have a colonoscopy, poor old darling - he's had IBS for years. I told him not to worry (having had one a few years ago) - "it's like the travels of Jules Verne" into the unknown. I was avidly watching the wee camera's exciting voyage through my inner self when the colonoscopist and I saw a little blobby bit (not expelled by Billy Connolly's explosive laxative). "Aha!" he cried, triumphantly. "The old enemy is sighted!"

The funniest thing that I ever saw was on The Good Old Days - Billy Dainty in a tutu and hobnailed boots, "dancing" with one of the male leads from the Royal Ballet.

Absolutely brilliant and not a word spoken, all done with posture and facial expressions.
