When I was younger I found a live-in job a great way to save money - you had to do that (save) to get a mortgage in my day  and I did several stints as a cook/housekeeper when I was still very fit and strong!

This was on the website of The Lady today - one of you Irish people may know some young lady looking for a post:

CO. MEATH STUD FARM
Intelligent versatile hard worker with initiative required.
Live in position as housekeeper, driver, cleaner.
Happy to help with horses, dogs, garden, office.

Start end of March 2009.
Contact Email: annmarshall50@yahoo.co.uk

I was looking since I have to move, and I don't really want to stay in suffolk; so anyone who knows anyone with somewhere cheap to let in the Newbury/Marlborough/Swindon/Wantage area please let me know! More than willing to do a bit of caretaking, dogminding, gardening, dinner parties etc etc for a reduction in rent .........

Found another one:

CO. CORK STUD
Young versatile hard worker with no initiative required.
Live in position (room share) as partner, cleaner, entertainer.
Happy to help with special requests, role-play, and group activities
May suit a girl looking to attend secondary school in the area.
Stocking supplied

Can it be a stud when theres only one stallion??

Does the stud operate a no foal no fee policy??

LOL boys! love it

Seriously, I thought there was going to be a big downturn in equine TB reproduction so I'm surprised there is so much stud work going begging
