Colin Mcrae

According to Sky News the helicopter is registered to Colin McRae & police say there are no survivors ~ there is no further speculation as yet as to whether he was on board.

One assumes that if McRae wasn't involved it would have been confirmed by now?. Someone would have contacted him, or been able to deny it etc? It came down at 4 apparently, and was an enormous blaze. It's crashed on his estate, and in a chopper that was registered to him. Me fearz the worst

doesn't look good does it. When his agent is talking in those sort of terms on the record i think you can pretty well take it as read

Yeah, I know. Can't imagine what his wife is going through - to lose her husband and five year old child in one go.

EDIT - comment referred to Warbler's first post of the 2!

It appears that the other two passengers in the helicopter may have included another young child. It could be two young children that have lost their lives :( Confirmation still to be made.

I didn't know too much about Colin McCrae when he was involved in rallying but knew his name more from the rally games for which be became a household name.

Sounds like there were was a 37 year old male passenger on board and a 6 year old boy in addition to Colin McCrae and his 5 year old son, Johnny. :(

Just got back from Banger Racing at Arena Essex, it was announced just before racing started & the track announcer gave a lovely tribute to him before a minutes silence that was observed by everyone inc the children :(
