I'm sure I read somewhere that it's possible to delete the long-winded wait while Microsoft's 'Welcome' comes up after logging on. Unfortunately, because I'm - in the words of a charming young man driving a toy car this week - 'a f***ing old c**t' (because I asked him what he was trying to do when nearly t-boning the car) - I can't recall where I read this info, and have looked through my various 'how to' books without success.
The 'Welcome' just sits there inanely for about a minute, which is too long a time to sit staring at it every time I switch on! I mean - that's sometimes an entire 10 minutes lost in a day! So if anyone could please tell me how I can shortcut the logging-in process and get rid of 'Welcome', I shall reward them with undying gratitude.
