In the last couple of days Coral and Ladbrokes have at last joined Hills on going BOG. Coral are also offering 10% cashback on losing bets (not sure about the small print).
From a purely selfish standpoint, I'm pleased as it opens up a few more avenues. Since Hills went BOG I'd say over 50% of my online betting has been with them as I've found they've been quite competitive with the ones I've fancied. I also built up a nice wee tank there before emptying it recently to fund a four-figure purchase.
For a year or two, Blue Square got the majority of my bets but as others came on board with BOG I started punting elsewhere.
Ladbrokes appear to have gone one better and opened up the BOG offer to multiples, which might tempt me into having small multiples where I otherwise tend not to get involved.
It will be interesting to see how some of the smaller operators respond as they aim to retain their small market shares.
