Anybody know what's happened between the two of them, I thought he was always a trier on most mounts but of late he seems to have lost his job and rides are very sparse indeed.......
I buy the Weekender every week and was very taken aback reading at the start of the season that C Hills was taking DH on as "stable jockey". They're maybe close friends but Holland lost it many years ago and has been a big negative for me since then.
Whether he has "lost his job" as you say is another thing as we don't know the nature of the original agreement.
I don't know enough about the darker side of jockeys' employment but I reckon once they have been in the clutches of corrupt overlords there is no way back.
Rode one at Chelmsford City for Marco Botti yesterday that was 16/1 into as short as 2/1 at one stage - drifted back out on the shows and beaten in a photo.
Holland's job was never going to work clearly a lot of owners e.g those of Magical Memory would not use him and as I recall he was pretty much finished for Charlie H by Royal Ascot .
