3.30 Newcastle

Interesting runner in holiday magic 22 races as a 5yr old has not been placed from 9 runs on the turf but won 4 from 13 on the aw and 4 places was previously trained by charlie appleby got a to mark of 95 march 2015 after running in some decent handicap races winning off 84 then mark crept upto 95 as races were better quality even though not winning again.Last placed run was 3rd of 95 over a mile at chelmsford august 2015.
Mick easterby has since trained on second run for him was 4th of 13 off 90 to barracuda boy over tomorrows c/d,has since run all eight of his next runs on turf has never been placed on it but still even some of those runs weren't too bad in decent handicaps over an inadequate 6fs,ascot was staying on at finish as well.Those runs have enabled him to drop from that mark of 90 and return to the aw on just a mark of 74 19 pound less than last run on it plus nathan evans takes off another three down to 71.He has one ridiculously well handicapped horse could actually drop into a race for horses upto 75 never mind tomorrows race for horses upto 85,hard to know if he's getting this down even further in weights but off these marks on the aw has to be worth considering as aw season starts as some of his turf runs suggest he isn't necessarily a horse that has regressed yet just hasn't been on right surface and a trip too short..

Holiday magic a real disappointment on the price sportsbook opened 28/1 cut to 8s amd all other books followed suit lemmings,desperate stuff will have a token bet but will probably be better bet if no show tomorrow may get double this price in a weaker race next time out...8/1 365/victor
