Just one win for Sarvan in a Pontefract maiden in 2020,given a mark of 92 after that win and did nothing for the rest of 2020 then had wind surgery,came back in 2021 after five month break in February 2021 at Wolves over 1m 1 1/2 3rd in a 0-100 off 85 claimer took another three off as well..Returned to the turf ran some decent races 4th of 16 in a 0-90 at Donny 4th in a 0-105 at Epsom 2nd in a 0-90 at Windsor,then swiched to the aw 2nd in a 0-85 over saturdays c/d time was respectable,those last two runs had been in first time pieces,ran five more times after that different headgear tp,tb its form regressed compared to early season form and no real reason why..It did run over this c/d again,looked a bit unenthusiastic eventually beaten 7 1/2ls 6th of 12,race was run in a very good time 2m0.91,was stying on reasonably well at the finish but followed u wth another two poor runs..The last run at Lingfield was off 86,now off just 77 and drops into a 0-75,November ran in a hurdles race just didn't stay was cantering with a hurdle to go and blew up to be well beaten,it returns with no headgear at all and will be a five month break,similar to last seasons with the 3rd in the 0-100..If it could run to anywhere near its best form then would look a massive price in this grade,but has regressed in those last end of season runs,no headgear on saturday either,betting will be interesting if they have it right it can't go off these prices,it will obviously tell the story..
Sea of Charm looks the obvious one was only beaten 6ls in a listed race over c/d,as is typical with so much aw racing over these trips it ran i a 0-65 last time out and got beat,so many of these races run over further than a ile the best speedfigure horses are the horses coming off the pace,that's why you see so many of them getting beat at short prices..A couple of front runners in here,it's also the same for Sarvan i suspect if they go slow then they won't run to their best..
