Ascot Saturday

Get Ahead 20/1 365 5 places 18/1 generally skybet 7 places

This crazy 5f sprint where not even sure how the draw will work out especially looking at Ascot recently,more ofte than not this particular meeting and this race the draw has come up high,so will have a small bet on Get Ahead fro the 14 draw 20 runners..Get Ahead a 3yr old just the six runs,most of its form doesn't look good enough,but the race i highlighted at York when Last Crusader won the listed race at York for 3yr olds,the winning time of that race was .33 quicker than the 0-105 all aged handicap on the card,that's 2ls yet fine wine won that race by 3ls itself...The time looked suspect when Lost CArusader completely bombed out at Haydock,the 2nd Guilded git beaten easily in a group 2 but then won a weak listed race at Ayr..Still finding the times very confusing from those two races at York it made these 3yr olds look very good on the clock,and Get Ahead has recently been beaten in a listed race at Sandown ran ok beaten an easy 2ls,which suggests the times might have been flattering afterall but i've watched the two races and they were truely run end to end gallops..If you go on the clock Get Ahead wouldv'e been 2nd to Fine Wine by 3/4ls but givng it 12 pound and Fine Wine was rated 86 with field spreaeagled behind,that would put Getahead in the low 90s with older horses yet is running 7 or 8 pound below that even though off 93 as a 3yr old..I might be a case of horses fir courses,so they might need to run back there as these tracks like Sandown and Ascot are nothing like,but i will have to back it but i won't be giving up totally on that York time not until the firs three from that race have run on speed tracks,although Guilded has already won at Ayr..
I will probably back somethng else in this race,but with doubts around draw could be a complete guessing game,just ridiculously competitve..
