Just a small interest promised myself i wouldn't bet Brunch anymore,feels like the horse is a veteran but is only a 5yr old and only had 19 runs in total so not over raced but has got itself very high in the weights 106.Has a decent track record 1/1/2/2 and last time out ran here in in a listed race,well beaten it may have been the ground was just a bit too quick for it,looking at its course runs all the races its run well in have been above standard so a class 2 handicap with those times suggests it prefers good ground,not necessarily gd/sft but deadish ground,it looks like it will be that tomorrow and although seems unlikeky will win off 106 looked the best horse in its penultimate run here over c/d when beaten in a similar race off 104..He didn't get a great run in that race and was strongest at finish..Think it's worth a small bet just based on track form..

Clashaniska 16/1 365 5 places Soldiers Son 20/1 365 14/1 generally 5 places
A real dodgepots race and the two picks are a longstanding maidens Soldiers Son 0/30 on turf 0/20 7 places and Clashaniska 2/32 but no wins on turf from 16 runs either..Clashaniskas alreat gone off 6/4 and 13/8 fav in 0-60s this season,but last two runs in classified races 0-50 11/1 and 7/2..In between those runs did run here when 3rd over 7fs in a 0-60,similar sort of race tomorrow drawn 11/16 it looks like the fast ground that day suited but tomorrow looks like being a lot slower,will have a small bet on it as that was its only run here and with what could be a decent draw and 5 places and a possibility of field splitting both sides as maximum field..
The other Soldiers Son has run over this c/d five times and placed three times,was 3rd in a 0-70 back in April and 2nd in a 0-65 in June what i have noticed is those runs the ground was a lot slower than going guven in results one race was slow by 2.7 seconds and another slow by over 3 seconds..Has over 4ls to find with the fav on one of those runs but that was on quicker ground,favs drawn low and Soldiers Son 5 and 6 the pair,the fav Darcys Rock has led its last two runs here when winning ad coming second,am hoping they stick farside and give the lows a chance,hoping the field splits fav leads and Soldiers Boy follows..The ground looks like being goodish and it would give it ew chances,similar to Clashaniska,Clashaniska i would really like ew if fast griund as was in a decent time here when third but i can't see anyway the ground will be fast am hoping its not to slow and Clashaniska would als have an ew chance.
