Soulcombe 20/1 skybet

Soulcombe won the Melrose on saturday by 4 1/4ls absolutely hacked up looked 10ls better than that field,suspect that it will go up 10 pounds for that win onto 93,which will still make it look thrown in,later on the card Trawlerman won the Ebor but Soulcombes run 2.18 seconds quicker a huge difference,if you take those times at face value you could rated Soulcombe around Trawlermans mark as a 4yr old of 101 and that would still look conservative..The 20/1 will look huge even if it only progresses slightly on that run next season and in all probability a group horse in the future..The dam Ribbons and the sire Frankel it could be absolutely anything,of course there is the possibility will never be seen in a handicap next season,would be nice to see it put away for the season but seems unlikely..
