I'm looking forward to hearing what people think about the races this week.
I've watched Trilby in his most recent races, and he's entered in the five furlong handicap on Thursday. He was really unlucky first time out at Doncaster, where he just never had a chance to get going. Next time out he won well at Beverley, where he saw some daylight.
Then his last run over six furlongs, he didn't see the distance out in class 2 company out aswell as the ones in front, including the winner, Completely Random, who I think could be a Wokingham horse to watch out for as we get nearer to Royal Ascot. The Charlton horse is on a steep upward curve since the gelding operation by the looks of it.
Anyway, back to Trilby.
Five furlongs looks to be his best trip. I think he should be able to mix it up in class 2 events. But he'll need to put in a career best, as he'll be up against some tried and tested performers higher up the weights.
What a time to be alive, I tell thee.
