After yesterday’s feast will it be famine today? Hope not
. I guess the going might play a big part - it’s not looking like more rain at the moment, though - so I’ll hold off until nearer post-time.
Those I’ll be looking at:
Perfuse - 1:50 - ran up with a strong pace in the King George at Ascot and did best of those who did so as the hold-ups took over. I like the Ryan Moore booking, too. Also in this one, I’ve got an eye on Gosden’s Theoryofeverything with William Buick up.
Al Husn - 3:35 - on the figures he has much to find with nearly all these, but she is developing well and did surprise the odds-on Nashwa on her last run at Newcastle - 12/1 looks a bit ott.
Man of Eden - 4:45 - is beginning to look one of those horses who keep flattering to deceive, but he ran well at Haydock last time over 7f after a slow start which meant he couldn’t grab a decent position. Finished strongly and he’s back up with the extra furlong today which should help. Worth an EW shout with six places on offer.
