It's been rather a good decade for music (probably because I listen to more new stuff than I ever have because of the internet). So here are...........................................

My Top Ten Albums of the 00's

Radiohead - In Rainbows
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven
The Mars Volta - Frances the Mute
Neurosis - A Sun That Never Sets
Isis - Oceanic
PJ Harvey - Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea
Tom Waits - Alice
Sigur Ros - Takk
Deftones - White Pony
Sunn O))) & Boris - Altar

If I had to choose I'd go with () for Sigur Ros.

You've made me want to dig out Lift Your Skinny Fists, though.

Soem good films there although could never get enthused about Lost in Translation

32 shots
Hidden
Sideways
The counterfeiters
This is England

I prefered Babal to that directors 21 grams. would possibly include that one

Lives of others would definately be included too

Hidden and The beat that my heart skipped are the best two films I've seen. French cinema just can't be beaten.

 Well, Tom Waits was making great records in the 70s. But both acts are timeless masters of their crafts. A bit like Sea the Stars and Kauto Star, they'd have been at the top of their profession no matter what the decade.

yes i know Tom was around in the 70's - but he was as boring as fook then as he is now:rolleyes:

I did buy OK Computer..but again..it ended up in the unplayed pile after a period of time..yes it was different..but so were lots of acts that didn't excite
