Deedings of propery

Hi all,

Not sure if anyone on the forum will have knowledge of this (where is Ardross when you need him), but I'm looking for some information on UK property / inheritance laws.

Basically, I wish to know what is involved with parents seeking to deed their house (which they wholly own) to one of their offspring, and the legal / tax ramifications which this may involve.

Not even sure where to start, any and all advice welcome.
