How a Q.C. can come to the conclusion that there is no need for a public enquiry into the deaths of four young soldiers at this camp is beyond me.

One man had five shots to the chest, another had shots to both sides of his head and the other two died from single shots to the head.

We are asked to accept that these were suicides and that there is no evidence of murder or of the victims being bullied to death.

I am afraid the Army, the judiciary and the Government all come out of this with shame.

I urge the parents and everyone else to keep on fighting for a full public enquiry.

These events cannot be swept under the carpet.

Its unbelievable isnt it that we are asked to believe that there is some sort of mass suicide going on, how on earth did they think that someone would shoot themselves 5 times in the chest and what about twice in the head impossible.

My son wants to join the army :( thankfully he's only 14 so I have plenty of time to change it  reading this makes me feel sick, god only knows what those parents are going through :(

One of the lads evidently committed suicide the day before he was due to leave this particular barracks and it happened in the officers mess. Why would he commit suicide the day before he was due to leave?

Evidently, no finger tip evidence was taken until a year after the death occurred, so you can only imagine what would have happened to any "evidence" by then. I have to admit I think the whole thing stinks and as Colin said, the parents should fight on for a full public enquiry.

My heart goes out to the poor parents who just want to know the truth. With a public enquiry they would have the right to subpoena people to give evidence. I bet that will send a shudder down some spines in the army. With this latest enquiry the only evidence supplied was that, that was offered. <_<
