Anchorman Jon Stewart went over to their reporter at Heathrow, John Oliver, a "Senior Carryonologist".

JS: "John, what can be done about the fact that the arrested suspects are nearly all British?"

JO: "Well Jon, it means regime change. The US must overthrow the British government - but that's OK because Tony Blair has already pledged support for his own overthrow."

I saw it yes, genius. I`ve always wondered how much influence Brass Eye had (or not) in the creation of this show.

Not sure who does the writing but the pseudo reporters like Rob Cordroy and Stephen Colbert are the real stars of the show. Very funny stuff.

You think so? Maybe, but Stewart`s delivery is perfect. I was disappointed when he presented the Oscars however.

Stewart's very clever, and well able to interview his guest - who obviously share his outlook - but like you allude to above, I think some of the reports done by the lads, is the best and funniest satire since Brass Eye.

Yeah, Corrdroy in particular is very good. I didn`t realise till they did a skit with him in Alaska that BP is known as Beyond Petroleum in America.

I saw 'Extra's' for the first time last week. Kate Winslet was playing a Nun. I nearly split my sides laughing. Kate was brill.

If you haven't seen the others you have some treats in store. Though I'm not sure there's anything that quite matches Kate's foul-mouthed nun...
