Dinner

I am a carnivore, all my meals contain meat and i'm not really a fan of salad and its ilk

But thanks for the suggestion Truffle, and welcome to the forum

I had 'spaghetti alio, olio e peperoncino', tonight.

Bung some spag on the boil, heat a good dollop of olive oil in a pan, add sliced garlic and crushed chilli flakes, and stir until garlic browns.

Drain spag when cooked to preference, lob it into the pan for a turn, and then serve in shallow bowl.

Add crushed peppercorns and (if you want to cheat a bit) parmigianno.

Mrs Grass says that the Tally's knock this together as a cold cure.

Dead straighhtforward, healthy, a doddle to make, and really really boring.

I wish I'd had steak. :(

I was advised today to try cooking roast potatoes with honey & English mustard. I'll be attempting that in the next few days.

Fussy eater Georgia recommends crushed new potatoes with green pesto stirred through them.

Is that similar to mashed potato Griffin?

No. Chop new potatoes so they're approximately 1cm square-ish, boil, drain and then mix the pesto in. Or you could just lightly mash the new potatoes just to break them up a bit. I prefer the chopping method because that way I know the baby isn't going to get big lumps to choke on.

Overbruv, you really are desperate for that top 10 poster position. I had two pints of lager and some crisps in the oub garden after my gym visit. Mini Cheddars and Roast Beef & Mustard flavoured Brannigans (shared between two of us, I'm not greedy you know). Wind got up half-way through and blew away some of the Mini Cheddars, which was a shame.

Your wind actually blew away some mini chedders? Blooming heck. Must have been those Roast Beef and Mustard crisps. The minted lamb ones have the same affect on me. :shy:

Being a lady, I was of course joking, just in case anyone thought I was actually being serious. :suspect:

Udon Noodles, Chicken, Porcini Mushrooms, Orange Pepper, Tomato, Cucumber, Spring Onion, a Red Chilli and a Green Chilli stirfried in a Sweet Chilli and Lemongrass Sauce.

Not bad, would have been nicer with Duck.
