News on local radio this morning that Edward Gillespie is to become a consultant to Jonjo O'Neill to help him improve his business, a project described as a "slow burner"

Depends what you mean by a "consultant". Some already have consultants of sorts who aid with placing horses and the like, pretty sure Jeremy Noseda has one and I know that Kevin Ryan does.

If it's for PR then there's a few who could benefit from a consultant on that score.

I'd happily volunteer some advice to Jonjo for free though ;)

Perfect man for the job..........good friend and a man good at keeping secrets like he did when Jonjo got married on the course. I imagine EG will be more about the business side of things and taking the pressure off Jonjo 61 who is no spring chicken and looked every bit of it the other day. Shouldn't really say that but it's true

Gillispie is hardly a nipper! Looks very much like one good turn deserves another.

Been having 60 people a time to champagne breakfasts at Jackdaws this week hoping to attract new owners. The plan is to make Jonjo champion trainer within the next four years :ninja:

Good luck to him - he's even inviting a few would be rival trainers around there and those visiting JC weren't allowed cameras either.
