I've just received an email about a six month old dog who is missing in Lambourn. I know a few of you are in the area so I thought I'd post her mugshot here in case someone sees her or knows where she might be.

Squid.

Can't imagine how frantic her owners must be :(

Is Squid a Norfolk or a Border Terrier, Griffin?

Seriously cute and I hope they find her but they are very 'stealable', sadly....

Micro-chipped, I hope.

She's a Border Terrier. She is microchipped and there is a cash reward for her return. From the email I got I do believe they think she may have been stolen. I hope to God she doesn't end up in a puppy farm.

Is it the one from Hendersons? And have they contacted any of the Missing Dog sites such as Lurcher Search?

I don't know who she belongs to. The email was from Doglost.co.uk and the number it gave was 01488 722591

I'd think it is from Hendersons, they have a few who look like that. One thing though are you sure that numbers right? Lambourn numbers have 5 digits.

Yep, have double checked the email and that's definitely the number given.

Just found Nicky Hendersons phone number, and you're right it is one of his dogs and the number shouldn't have a 1 on the end of it. I'll email doglost and let them know they've given out the wrong number. Thanks LE :)

Dragging this one up again to let you know that Squid was found a few days ago near Heathrow and quickly reunited because of her microchip :D

As a dog lover who'd be lost with my little Heinz, I'm so glad this has had a happy ending.

Great news. Do we know what little Squid was doing between February and now, and especially at Thief Row?
It's believed that Squid was left behind when a travellers camp moved on.

A thousand smiling curses upon them. :teeth: May their BMWs all blow their gaskets and may they suffer a plague of boils, aye even unto the last child. That'll teach 'em.
