It’s warmed up around here and raining. Looks like Wetherby will go ahead tomorrow and ground no worse than soft. Must take it easy until things get back to normal so small bets only.

Adrimel 2:35 Wetherby - is an old friend who has a bit of class about him. He was highly tried at the back end of last season and found wanting, but he’s on a decent mark and had his pipe opener here at too short a distance in November . He’s 10lb better off with Risk de Flos who won then and although it was by 20 lengths I expect Adrimel to turn the tables over the longer distance. Still got the two joint favourites (atm) to deal with, though. 5/1 early price atm which I’ve taken.

Samation 2:00 Wetherby - hasn’t been out of the first three in all five runs this season - 13222 - and looked a decent ew bet at 8/1 early price. Unfortunately, I was too late and he’s 5/1 atm, but I’ve still taken some and may add if he shortens again tomorrow.
 
I’ve come to respect your judgement, Euro, but Adrimel doesn’t go so we’ll never know between them this time :lol:. Gone with yours instead.
 
Knew it. I noticed Fred were offering three places last night (when there were seven in the race) and I was tempted to go the each way route but when one does that something is always pulled. Glad I resisted, win only it is.
 
I think the handicapper has got Samation now, but Bailey says it’s the softest ground he has encountered so that may have played a part.
