Did you see the start of the bumper at Ludlow today. Complete chaos there at Ludlow, but good old Don was awake, and took a ten length start, which he never lost. Outstanding. I love jumping this time of year.

The Stewards held an enquiry into the start of the race. They called before them BAD MADE (IRE), ridden by Dougie Costello, BEOWULF (IRE), ridden by Kielan Woods, CESTUS (IRE), ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies, MYSTIFIABLE, ridden by Paddy Brennan, DAN’S WEE MAN, ridden by James Banks, DANGER IN THE PARK, ridden by Paul Moloney, BELURA (IRE), ridden by Charlie Poste, LAND OF VIC, ridden by Donal Devereux, LUCI DI MEZZANOTTE, ridden by Sam Jones and the Starter. Having viewed the video recording of the race and heard their evidence, they ordered a report to be forwarded to the British Horseracing Authority.

Backed this at 18 before the chaos. Worrisome 15 minutes until they paid out - thought they were going to void the ****** for a bit!!!

Splendid work Mr Devereaux

Was only lsitening to Timeform radio but as far I could gather - Dans Wee Man threw his rider before the start, jockey trying to remount and the starter let them go. Only Donal noticed and went.

James Banks was unseated as the tapes went up, which seemed to confuse the jockeys as to whether the race was off. Land Of Vic made the most of being afforded a ten-length lead.

Oh we did, nothing like having a good bet you are confident about and then having another ten lengths start given:lol::lol:
