Doncaster - Day 3
No bets on Day 2, but it was nice to see Adayar out for a stroll. Also thought Mimikyu had a bit of class about her winning the Park Hill and I reckon we’ll see a lot more of her.
On to Day 3.
2:00 - I’ve been really looking forward to seeing Nostrum again after his very promising debut in July where he won very nicely. All the more impressive since first time winners are not thick on the ground from SirMS. I’m not the only one it seems since he’s 8/11 atm and I doubt he will be a bet for me.
2:35 - The Platinum Queen ran a blinder for a 2yo against second older horses in the Nunthorpe and she should be hard to beat back against her age group. Another skinny price - 13/8 atm - particularly since she’s raced on nothing but good to firm going, although Fahey thinks it’ll be ok if it doesn’t get worse than Wednesday’s. Will wait ‘til nearer the race.
3:10 - he’s got his ground and I can’t see anything troubling Trueshan and at 1/3 atm neither can the bookies. Unbackable for me at that.
Could quite easily not have a bet at all given the prices atm, but maybe a small treble just to keep the juices flowing.
