I've read nothing in the press, but the Nanny have Don't Push It marked as a non-runner for the TTF, ie he's out for the season.

So much for the small injury that was initially reported....

PUSH ON THE WAY BACK

Don't Push It is set to return to the track in the next month after suffering a setback in November.

The Jonjo O'Neill-trained gelding had been a strong fancy for the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham only to pull a muscle a few days before the race.

"He'll be out there at the end of the month or early February," said Frank Berry, racing manager to owner JP McManus.

"We haven't got a race in mind just at the minute, but he's fine and back in work."

Don't Push It was a highly-promising novice chaser last term and made a successful seasonal reappearance over hurdles in the Silver Trophy at Chepstow in October.

The eight-year-old is quoted in the ante-post betting at the Cheltenham Festival, being a 33-1 chance for the Seasons Holidays Queen Mother Champion Chase and 12-1 for the Ryanair Chase.

Interestingly enough the Nanny have reverted the colour his name is in back to normal over the last week or two.
