Best of luck - just think of the first 3 as practice runs not fails and you'll sail through.

Best of luck, make sure you take plenty of Rescue Remedy beforehand to calm your nerves. All the best drivers need at least one attempt before they pass. I did it on my second go three years ago and I still remember how sick I felt. We'd moved house a few days before and I had to pass or my children would've been stuck at home because the school was so far away that I needed to drive. The ramifications of not passing were too much and I nearly died that day! Thank the Lord the examiner passed me

On the day I passed my test my instructor's final words were:

Remember, this is an opportunity for you to show off what you're good at, not to show up what you're not.

Knock 'em bandy, Solerina ;)

Might sound daft Solerina, but try and enjoy it!!!. You're in control, the car will only do what you tell it, so be positive and I'm sure luck won't even need to come into it. (but in case it does) best of luck!!!!

Cheers guys but I managed to cock it up again. I'm starting to lose the will to live . Total groundhog day . I got the same examiner again ,hardest in the centre and he failed me on a skid in my emergency stop . I DID cadence break but given that it rained so much here today some places were flooded I did'nt think it was a bad effort . I only got 9 minors but I don't want to risk getting this guy again because he's terrifying and I'm so not a nervous person so we're gonna change test centres .
Cheers for all the good wishes . Fifth time lucky I guess .

What a miserable git :o Failing you just for a little skid on an emergency stop on the wet! Nasty little man

Bad luck, Sols. Look, just in case he turns up again, make sure you do a really impressive skid with him and hurl him out the side door - that'll teach the curmudgeonly bastad!

Keep practising the weaker points that showed on your previous tests, Sols, with a chum who drives well to help you check them off. If you overcome the minors and wrestle with the main fail points, you'll be fine. Can I offer a weeny bit of advice? Don't wait too long for the next test, because the longer you wait, the less confident you'll feel. Take this on as a battle to be won, Sols. Get those mental scythes fitted to the car's wheels, and cut down the fear! :teeth:

Bad luck Sols - sounds like he's bit of a picky bastard!! Must have already filled up his quota of passes this month...

Don't let it get you down though - keep practising so you can show him next time!
