Kirklees runs in a trial for this on Thursday and I think he has the potential to be a really good bet around 7/1for the big one. Looks a weak renewal of the World Cup and if Kirklees can reproduce his turf form, he must have a chance I reckon. Anyone tell me if I should be really scared of any of the dirt horses that look to be going for the race?

Casino Drive looks average to be honest and Kane Hekili isn't travelling over apparently.

Albertus Maximus the one to beat - if you're going to be scared of any horse it'd be him David. That said he's no Curlin, Cigar or Invasor.

Looks a poor race, imagine plenty will be out to get the likely favourite (Albertus) beat. Clearly a good horse but is far from a certainty.....no surprise to see a big shock.
