Apologies in advance but I reckoned if I put this in the chit-chat section it might disappear down a black hole.

I've received an invitation to attend the future son-in-law's stag do in Dublin next month and was wondering if anyone had any tips/hacks re securing half-decent (or even half-indecent) accommodation around the city centre.

I know Wetherspoons now have two hotels there and will check them out but a little other local knowledge will always help.
